Randall Higdon

In his search of the essence of a subject, Randall Higdon paints not so much photographically, but rather what the mind's eye sees. Drawing upon his immediate surroundings and places visited for inspiration, Randy offers to the views of his paintings an enduring experience where past and present meet. Born and raised in Michigan, Higdon is a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since 1978, after six years of graphic design and illustration in commercial advertising, he has devoted his energies to fine art painting. Randall Higdon is a signature member of the prestigious American Watercolor Society of New York. He is an artist member of the National Society of Marine Artists in Bridgeport, CN, and the National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic in New York.
